In this Senior Associate, Diversified Credit role you will:
- Provide an independent and granular assessment of personal lending from a wide range of clients.
- Undertake credit application decisioning with a 2nd line credit Delegated Commitment Authority.
- Ensure that an acceptable level of risk is maintained and losses are kept to a minimum and would routinely involve assessing funding applications within the delegated commitment authority issued.
- Ensuring the bank’s policies, risk appetite and responsible lending practices are applied appropriately
- Deliver Credit Decisioning against targets in a busy environment to ensure the business remains within SLAs, whilst also decisioning within the Banks Risk Appetite.
What you'll bring
- Extensive Banking/ Credit Risk experience.
- Demonstrated experience in autonomously decisioning lending transactions within a delegated authority.
- Knowledge of business and economic issues, understanding of business operating cycles and industry knowledge and understanding.
- Communication skills, problem-solving skills, time management skills, conflict resolution, negotiation and presentation skills.
